The newspaper Bangkok Post said Saturday that the Thai government “has extended its ban on passenger flights for another month to June 30”.

The People’s Republic of China – including Macau and Hong Kong – and South Korea no longer considered a COVID-19 high incidence region in Thailand, announced the Tourism Authority of Thailand today.
Contrary to news reports claiming that Thailand’s visa-free arrangements for certain countries and regions had been cancelled, the visa exemptions for the holders of passports of the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau “will not be affected” and “remain the same.”
The Thai government has now enhanced prevention measures for COVID-19.
Thailand’s Department of Disease Control (DDC) has classified Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan, mainland China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Italy, Iran, France and Germany as “countries/administrative regions at risk for COVID-19.
