As of midday today (June 17), everyone arriving in Macao from Beijing will be subject to 14-day medical observation, according to Macao Daily today.

Residents could enjoy their shopping activities, as the government’s consumption subsidy smartcard scheme starts today, provided that they continue to adhere to the government’s COVID-19 prevention measures.
Macau has had no new imported COVID-19 cases for 22 consecutive days since April 8 – 1 more discharged today and 5 have also completed the 14-day recovery isolation period. Golden Crown China Hotel has also been emptied today.
Quarantine requirements for those arriving from mainland China and Macau have been extended until June 7. This will not apply to cross-border students.
The public hospital is studying the possible partial resumption of visitations as the COVID-19 epidemic situation in Macau has eased.
Macau’s 28th confirmed novel coronavirus patient was discharged today and transferred to Centro Clínico de Saúde Pública for a further 14-day recovery isolation period, becoming the city’s 16th discharged patient. The Jai Alai Hotel – which had been used for quarantine – has also been emptied today.
Only four “quarantine hotels” are still operating: Pousada Marina Infante in Cotai, Golden Crown China Hotel opposite the local airport in Taipa, Jai Alai in Zape, and a section of the Sheraton Grand hotel in Cotai.
The Grand Harbour Hotel and Royal Dragon Hotel – which had been used for quarantine – have both been emptied today.
The Grand Lapa Hotel, which had been used for medical observation since March 23, has been emptied today.
