The Macao government said in a statement today that more than 100 million facemasks have been sold since 23 January, when it launched its official mask-selling programme.
From 12 pm on 13 July, all passengers entering Macao via the HZMB from Hong Kong must present a nucleic acid test certificate proving they are COVID-19 negative and must be issued within the last 7 days.
With effect from 6 am tomorrow, all air and ferry passengers departing from Macao must present a nucleic acid test (NAT) certificate confirming that they have tested negative for COVID-19 within the past seven days.
Macao has neither confirmed a new COVID-19 case for 12 consecutive days nor a new local COVID-19 case for 101 consecutive days.
Filipina who works as a domestic helper in Macao and returned to her home country on 29 June has tested positive for Covid-19 there.
Lau Fong Chi also explained that on 16 July, the last vessel to Macao will depart at 11pm from the HKIA and the last ferry to the HKIA will leave Taipa’s Maritime Passenger Terminal at 7 pm.
