A 62-year-old Hong Kong man who had worked in Macao since March and returned to Hong Kong on 11 July has tested positive for Covid-19 there.

The local government’s Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announced in a statement on Tuesday that from today all those who have entered Guangdong from Macao can now travel within the whole province.
The Guangdong government’s quarantine lifting for arrivals from Macao is applicable to Macao residents and mainlanders as well as Hong Kong people and Taiwan people who live either in Macao or Guangdong and commute between the two regions.
