The Mong-Ha Sports Centre will start gradually opening to the public from today, the Sports Bureau has announced.

The first set of facilities to open will be the badminton courts and table tennis rooms on the second floor, the basketball courts on the fourth floor and the rooftop leisure area and jogging trail.

Online bookings can be made seven days in advance via the bureau’s website and mobile app, while “on-the-spot booking” is also available at the centre’s service counter from today.

In accordance with Covid-19 pandemic prevention measures, making online reservations is recommended as there will be limited quotas at the sports centre. The rooftop leisure area will allow a maximum of 50 people per two-hour session, while a QR code entry ticket will be provided upon registration at the reception desk.

The centre contains various sports facilities on each floor and requires a valid ticket receipt for entry. Users who have reserved a venue will be provided with an electronic or paper ticket receipt with “Entry and Exit of Facilities” and “Obtain Facilities” QR codes.
