Only 1 patient is still under treatment for COVID-19 after one more of Macau’s 45 COVID-19 patients was discharged from hospital today, according to the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre.

The discharged patient is the 27-year-old female Korean employee who returned to Macau from Portugal on March 13 and diagnosed with the novel coronavirus disease on March 15.

After 62 days of hospitalisation, the discharged patient will start her 14-day recovery period isolation in the Public Health Clinical Centre in Coloane. The cost of her treatment amounts to 18,000 patacas (US$2300).

There have only been 45 confirmed novel coronavirus cases in Macau, with 44 patients already discharged and no deaths.
