Ferry services between the Outer Harbour Terminal or Taipa Ferry Terminal and Shekou in Shenzhen will resume tomorrow, following the improvement in the Covid-19 pandemic situation.

According to the Marine and Water Bureau two to four ferries will ply between Macao and Shekou every day and schedules will be planned according to demand in the future, The Macau Post Daily reported.

Previously, TurboJet ferries sailed twice from Macao and twice from Shekou daily.

The bureau reminded passengers to pay attention to Shenzhen’s novel coronavirus prevention and control measures before their departure, have a negative nucleic acid test and convert their Macao Health Code to the Guangdong Health Code.

The bureau has already asked cleaning companies to disinfect and deep clean the terminal and ferries, pointing out that passengers must wear facemasks at all times onboard the ferry.
