The Angolan company Biagio started producing chocolate at a factory in the municipality of Cacuaco, in Luanda, last month.

Administrator Gonçalo Ferreira said: “The raw material for the production of chocolate is 100 per cent natural and chemical-free. The cocoa is from the province of Cabinda, the sugar is from Malanje, and the packaging and boxes are all made in Luanda.”

Biagio has been operating in Angola since 2014 manufacturing products used by confectioners and bakers. The company produces 7,000 tonnes of chocolate mousse, cakes, gelatin, milk creams, puddings and other confectionery annually.
