The former secretary-general of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries (Forum Macao) will be China’s next ambassador to São Tomé and Príncipe, CLBrief has learned.

Ambassador Paulo Jorge Espírito Santo – from São Tomé and Princípe – became the new Forum Macao deputy secretary-general today, replacing Rodrigo Brum who ended his three year term.
São Tomean ambassador Paulo Jorge Espírito Santo will be the new deputy secretary-general of the Permanent Secretariat of the Macao-based Forum for Economic and Commercial Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.
Macao will host a new science and technology conference within the framework of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) on 9-11 November.
An event entitled “Lusophone Painters Exhibition” organised by Clube Militar de Macau is being held at the club’s Comendador Ho Yin Gallery. The exhibition will run until 2 November.
