The Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau has warned that frequent showers are expected over the next few days, adding that the public should take precautions against flooding.
The bureau noted that a trough of low pressure over northern Guangdong is moving southwards and “will affect the coastal area persistently” from today.
Macao’s weather will be “more showery”, with thunderstorms and heavy showers over the next few days. The bureau urged the public to observe the latest weather information, take measures against flooding and plan their means of transport in advance, owing to the expected “frequent and thundery showers during the week”, The Macau Post Daily reported.
