IPM launches online summer training courses for Portuguese-language teachers

The Centre for Portuguese Studies (CPCLP) of the Macao Polytechnic Institute (IPM) has been providing summer training courses for Portuguese-language teachers of higher education institutions in the mainland to meet the high demand of Portuguese-language learning there over the years, IPM said in a statement on Thursday.

Hospitals’ inpatients rise 3.9% to 62,000 last year

Macao’s five hospitals provided a total of 1,628 in-patient beds last year, up by 24 year-on-year, while their number of inpatients rose 3.9% to 62,000, with the average hospital stay up by 0.2 days to 7.4 days.
