According to a statement released by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the requirements are to be ‘rigorously’ carried out to enter establishments supervised by MGTO, including hotels and guest houses, restaurants, bars, karaoke lounges, night clubs, saunas, massage parlours and health clubs.

Those who hold a red or yellow coloured Macao Health Code will be denied admission into these establishments.

MGTO once again advises all local hotels, guesthouses, integrated resorts as well as catering and other establishments under their supervision to carry out pandemic prevention properly in accordance with all the Covid-19 prevention guidelines and advice issued by the Health Bureau.

This includes the requirements to wear masks, have the temperature checked and presenting the Macao Health Code upon admission to these establishments, among other measures.

MGTO has delegated staff to inspect the above establishments regarding their compliance with pertinent measures.
