The Macao Grand Prix Museum and the Ritz Building including its Tourist Information counters and exhibition hall reopen today, however the Macao Government Tourism Office’s (MGTO) “Stay, Dine and See Macao” local tours remain suspended until further notice.

The daily volume of visitors received by the Grand Prix Museum will be reduced by half, from 1,100 to 550 persons per day, while the museum’s free guide service remains suspended and group visit applications are cancelled.

No more than 25 people will be accommodated at a time at the Ritz Building, and all venue booking applications for this month remain suspended.

All visitation restrictions will remain in effect until 31 August.

The Maritime Museum will also reopen today, however, no visitor restrictions have been applied.

In related news, the Environmental Protection Bureau announced that its “electronics and appliances recycling scheme”, including its home-collection service, portable recycling vehicle programme and all the portable recycling and fixed recycling spots, will reopen tomorrow, as will the four recycle FUN programmes stations.

The bureau’s “Green Points” Programme service stations will remain closed this month.
