Macau’s first patient diagnosed with the novel coronavirus has recovered and was discharged Thursday.
The Novel Coronavirus Coordination Center announced Thursday that the first patient diagnosed with a new coronavirus infection in Macau recovered and was discharged Thursday afternoon.
The patient was a female, 52 years old, and a resident of Wuhan.
After half a month of intensive treatment and care by the medical team at the Conde S. Januário Hospital, the patient’s condition continued to improve.
Her laboratory indicators has gone back to normal and her pathogenic tests came back negative. She departed from Conde S. Januário Hospital Thursday afternoon, and was escorted to the border by local police.
Macau still has 9 confirmed cases remaining.
