A total of 65,751 people attended vocational training courses last year, a year-on-year growth of 9.6 percent, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, Business and Administration courses had the highest number of trainees, accounting for 30.8 percent, or 20,271 trainees, of the total, followed by computing courses and language courses, with 8,223 and 7,255 trainees respectively.

The course completion rate was 84.6 percent, down by 3.4 percentage points year-on-year.

A total of 51 institutions offered vocational training courses last year, 9 more than in the previous year. A total of 1,718 courses were held, up by 11.8 percent year-on-year.
