People can board the bus to the Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre by showing their appointment slip or the text message of their appointment reminder, the Health Bureau (SSM) has announced.

According to the SSM, in response to residents’ needs to visit the hospital for medical consultation during this week’s partial lockdown, people who need to have regular medical services at the hospital can present the text message of their appointment reminder or appointment slip, including blood sampling services, outpatient services and drug dispensary services, or the electronic appointment voucher in their Macao One Account, to the driver when boarding the bus en route to the hospital.

The SSM underlined that patients seeking urgent medical attention who need to catch a bus but do not have an appointment slip can contact the public hospital by calling 8390 3600 for registration. Afterwards, the hospital will send an emergency appointment confirmation by text message to the patient who needs to use public transport, which will be valid for two hours.

The SSM noted that each service user can be accompanied by one family member during the bus trip, and that the service users are required to present their appointment slip, text message, and certificate of attendance to the bus driver when returning home, The Macau Daily Post reported.
