As of 8 am today, a total of 149 positive Covid-19 cases have been recorded since the current outbreak began early Sunday, while 5,308 people are currently under follow up, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announced.

Among those followed up by the authorities, 717 people are close contacts, 3,283 share overlapping itineraries, 285 are secondary contacts, 285 general contacts and 589 accompanying persons.

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre will upload itineraries (only available in Chinese) of the positive cases on the Special Webpage against Epidemic

In related news, a total of 468,267 samples have been collected as of 8 am this morning since the second round of mass nucleic acid testing (NAT) began at 9 am yesterday.

So far, a total of 251,650 samples have tested negative for the coronavirus, while 20 batches of 10-in-1 pooled samples were found preliminary positive.

All people in Macao must undertake the second mass NAT before midnight tonight. Those failing to take a NAT will be assigned a yellow health code after midnight and taken by the police to a designated venue to undergo the test and will then have to wait until the test result comes out negative.
