Some of the world’s best planes, boats and cars will go on show for the next three days at the “Macao Grand Expo – Exhibitions of Macao Automobile, Yacht and Business Aviation”.
The event has been organised by Nam Kwong (Group), China National Machinery Industry Corporation, China Aviation Supplies Holding Company and Macau Convention and Exhibition Association.
The 11th Macao Yacht Exhibition kicked off yesterday at Coloane Yacht Berthing Area. Fu Jianguo, chairman of Nam Kwong (Group), said that holding the exhibition in Macao allows mainland Chinese yacht companies to introduce themselves to the international market while foreign brands also have a platform to promote their brands in the Chinese mainland.
The yacht exhibition gathers dozens of well-known domestic and foreign brands in the upstream and downstream industries, including yacht manufacturers, yacht operators, yacht parts and supplies, and water tourism. Small and medium-sized yachts on display at the exhibition are all priced at up to RMB 1 million, aiming to attract more middle-income sailing lovers.
The 11th Macao Automobile Exhibition is being held at the Macao Venetian Cotai Convention and Exhibition Centre. It will take place in an area of 65,000 square metres with more than 200 well-known vehicle brands and automobile enterprises from over 20 countries and regions, displaying nearly 400 motor vehicles.
The 10th Macao Business Aviation Exhibition is being held at Macau International Airport, in an area of 24,000 square metres. The exhibition will be divided into the indoor main venue and aircraft display area. The mainland’s manned electric Ehang 216 aircraft will be displayed at the annual exhibition for the first time.
Experts and scholars will participate in events and activities such as a Macau Business Aviation Development Theme Forum on the “Challenges and Opportunities to the Development of Business Aviation Brought by Emergence and Practicability of AI”, while youngsters will be able to participate in activities such as the “Future Day”, The Macau Post Daily reported.
