The Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition will take place online only from tomorrow until Saturday.
Organisers said that in the light of new virus prevention and control measures offline activities for the exhibition will be cancelled, including the Green Forum and physical exhibitions, to avoid crowd gatherings and reduce the risk of Covid-19 transmissions.
Online activities such as virtual business matching will go ahead in order to help enterprises seize green business opportunities, The Macau Post Daily reported.
Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute President Lau Wai Meng said that the exhibition revolves around the theme “Towards a Green and Low Carbon New Era” and should be very successful despite being held online.
