Lau is one of two executive directors of IPIM.

Addressing the press conference, Lau said that the number of registered exhibitors and trade visitors was similar to last year, adding that a total of 142 local enterprises have registered to exhibit their goods and services and sell a wide range of products including food, electronics, jewellery, clothes and accessories, and household products.

Lau also said the budget for the fair has risen by about four percent year on year, amounting to about 36 million patacas.

Lau said one of the highlights this time is a new pavilion to promote food from Portuguese-speaking countries.
