Casinos’ gross revenue from games of chance fell by 0.4 percent year-on-year to 25.84 billion patacas (US$ 3.23 billion) last month, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) announced Monday.
It was the second month this year that the casino sector’s gross gaming revenue declined year-on-year. In January, gross gaming revenue had dropped by 0.5 percent to 24.94 billion patacas.
Month-on-month, last month’s revenue rose 1.8 percent.
In the first quarter of this year, casinos’ gross gaming revenue dipped by 0.5 percent to 76.15 billion patacas.(Macaunews)
