Hong Kong has announced that the quarantine-free Return2hk and Come2hk schemes for travellers from Macao will resume from next Tuesday.

The schemes have been suspended for travellers from Macao since 25 September, after the city suffered an infection cluster of security guards in a designated quarantine hotel.

Hong Kong ID holders can travel home under the Return2hk scheme, with a daily quota set at 2,000 arrivals via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and another 3,000 via Shenzhen Bay Port.

Anyone holding Macao ID cards or mainland identity documents can travel under the Come2hk scheme, with the daily quota set at 1,000 for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and another 1,000 for Shenzhen Bay Port.
