Five more Macao residents returning from abroad have tested positive for Covid-19, raising the city’s asymptomatic tally to 101. All are being treated in isolation at the Health Bureau’s Public Health Clinical Centre in Coloane.

The patients, who arrived from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand, range from 25 to 74 in age, and all had been vaccinated at least twice. Macao’s total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases remains at 82.

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre also announced an imported Covid-19 “re-positive” case, a triple-jabbed 22-year-old local woman who returned to Macao from the United Kingdom via Singapore on Saturday. She had previously been infected last December, and is also being treated in isolation, The Macau Post Daily reported.
