A total of 115 people in Macao will undergo quarantine for a minimum of seven and a maximum of 14 days for having been in the surrounding area of Zhuhai’s Pullman Hotel, where confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been found recently.

The 115 people’s Health Codes have meanwhile turned red.

The exact number of days in quarantine will depend on the day they departed the affected area, according to Macao’s Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre.

The move comes after health authorities in Zhuhai confirmed new Covid-19 cases at the Pullman Hotel, which is located on 2029 Jiuzhou Avenue West in Xiangzhou District.

The Zhuhai authorities have since set up a restricted area around Fuhua Li North Street, Baishi Road and Baihe Street. Any person who has been in that area on or after 1 pm on 27 March will be required to be placed under medical observation, TDM reported.
