Macao can look forward to clement weather over the Mid-Autumn Festival, with the observatory forecasting that tomorrow will be sunny and hot, while the wind will be weak and the clouds will be thin in the evening.
Forecasters also said that moonrise will be around 6:46 pm, and it will reach its fullest at 12:43 am. on Sunday when it reaches its highest point above the horizon.
The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) said yesterday that according to previous climate data, nearly half of the Mid-Autumn Festivals in past years were affected by rain, but the probability of rain this year “is not high”. The SMG noted that the maximum temperature will be hovering around 32 degrees Celsius, which is higher than the average.
The observatory predicted very hot weather today, fine apart from cloudy periods, The Macau Post Daily reported.
