This year, The Parisian Macao’s celebrations are getting a creative twist thanks to “Apple of My Eye” – an exclusive collaboration with designer toy company Pop Mart that has transformed the resort into a photogenic holiday playground.

From now until 18 January 2026, popular characters appear in imaginative festive scenes peppered across the hotel. Keeping with the theme, you’ll find recurring apple motifs woven through the displays.

Check out the installations across the Eiffel Tower, the Porte Cochere entrance and the resort’s grand rotunda, or admire them from the Level 6 and 7 observation decks, where the scenes unfold from above.

One of the most charming stops is the “Apple Wishing Wall” on Level 3 of Shoppes at Parisian, where Sands Lifestyle members can jot down New Year’s wishes on apple-shaped stickers anytime from now through 4 March 2026. Members will also enjoy priority access for photos at the Pop Mart installation in the lobby and exclusive seasonal keepsakes.

Follow the trail of apple-inspired desserts

In Chinese culture, apples are sometimes exchanged as a symbol of peace, harmony and safety, especially on Christmas Eve, known as Ping An Ye (meaning, “Peaceful Night”). Why apples? The custom stems from a linguistic pun: the first syllable of “apple” (píngguǒ) echoes the sound of “peace” in the word píng’ān.

Embracing that tradition, The Parisian Macao has dreamed up a thoughtful lineup of apple-inspired desserts, available until 4 March 2026 at several popular restaurants.

For example, at award-winning Le Buffet, you’ll find dainty apple-themed confections; at Brasserie, an elegantly plated green apple dessert awaits; and at Crystal Jade, look for a basket of steamed apple-shaped buns filled with silky red bean paste.

And then there’s the oversized red chocolate apple in the lobby café – it’s a glossy, sculptural treat designed to be cracked open with a small mallet to reveal a hidden sweet inside.

Watch the Eiffel Tower come alive after dark

As evening falls, all eyes turn to The Parisian Macao’s Eiffel Tower, which comes alive in rippling waves of colour during the festive edition of the Grand Illumination Show. From now through 2 January 2026, the show runs every 15 minutes from 6:15 pm to midnight, synchronising kaleidoscopic light patterns with holiday music for an extra magical experience.

On 31 December, there’ll be another special show when the tower takes centre stage for one of Macao’s most anticipated countdowns. As the clock strikes midnight, expect a burst of lights, music and fireworks as revellers ring in the new year in style.

Celebrate with festive flavours

Whether you’re after a quick festive bite or a leisurely feast, The Parisian Macao has no shortage of places to linger over a holiday meal.

At the heart of the resort, the lobby café is hosting a seasonal pop-up from noon to 7 pm daily, serving pastries, coffees and festive treats beneath its ornate ceilings. The space is open to the public to enjoy, so stop in between holiday wanderings to fuel up with snacks or simply take in the photogenic scene.

For something more expansive, Le Buffet celebrates the season with a dinner spread that marries classic holiday dishes – think foie gras terrine with fig jam and gingerbread, honey-glazed Christmas ham, and slow-roasted Butterball turkey – with its signature mix of fresh seafood, hand-pulled noodles, plus a chocolate fountain and a charming carousel of sweets at the dessert station.

Over at La Chine, set on the sixth floor of the Eiffel Tower, the holiday set menu offers an effortlessly refined meal. Look forward to delicate dim sum, such as steamed red rice rolls with crispy lobster, alongside slow-cooked abalone, steamed tiger grouper, and panoramic views of Cotai.

If your tastes lean French, Brasserie has put together festive menus built around Gallic comfort foods and craftsmanship. From scallop carpaccio to cheese soufflé, turkey ballotine with morel mushrooms, and beef en croûte with truffle duxelle and rich Bordeaux butter sauce, this festive feast brings yet another slice of Parisian indulgence to Macao.
