The Macao government has imposed mandatory 14-day quarantine on all arrivals from Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei province and Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province.

The Urban Master Plan recently announced by the government has overlooked the safeguarding of the city’s old and historic neighbourhoods, said architect João Palla Martins in an interview with Tribuna de Macau newspaper.
Macao recorded an average of 21,242 visitor arrivals per day from 3 December to 3 January, with New Year’s Eve setting the highest daily record over the past eleven months.
