The Macau government has so far spent over MOP 50 million (US$6.2 million) on booking rooms in 12 local hotels for mandatory quarantine and medical observation.

A group comprising seven local Portuguese community associations has collected MOP 3.5 million (US$444,700) to help Portugal fight COVID-19.
The Treasure Hotel, which had been used for medical observation since March 21, has been emptied today.
