Macau’s Catholic diocese announced on Friday the reopening of its parish churches on March 7.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, Macau’s number of visitor arrivals dropped 16.8% year-on-year to 2.85 million in January.
Entertainment venues, such as cinemas and gyms can reopen for business on Monday. Meanwhile, local schools could resume in late April or even earlier.
The Secretariat for Administration and Justice (GSAJ) said in a statement Thursday night that all public services will resume their “normal” work schedule on Monday.
The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) said in a statement Thursday that smoking will be banned in all public parks from Sunday.
