The Macao matches of the Women’s Volleyball Nations League 2024 will be taking place from today until 2 June at the Galaxy Arena.

The full tournament began on 14 May and will hold its finals in Bangkok between 20 and 23 June. Macao is the part of the second week of preliminary rounds, which are simultaneously taking place in Arlington, Texas.

Teams representing eight countries, namely China, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, France, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands and Thailand, are scheduled to take part in the Macao games.

China is due to compete against the Netherlands on 29 May, Japan on 31 May, Thailand on 1 June and Italy on 2 June. The Chinese team arrived in Macao on 21 May for training.

Tickets for the various matches are now available for sale via a number of platforms, including MacauTicket.com, priced from 180 patacas to 1,380 patacas.

The Women’s Volleyball Nations League this year will be the first to be organised in Macao in over four years after a pandemic hiatus. This year’s venue has a capacity of 16,000 people, which is much greater than the 4,000 that the Macao Forum venue accommodated in 2019.
