The Hong Kong government has told its local counterpart that it is aiming for a bus service between the Macau checkpoint of the Hong-Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and Hong Kong’s airport to come into service in the middle of next month.

The government has renewed the service contracts with the city’s two public bus operators — Transmac and TCM — for another 14 months.
The Taipa section of the Light Rail Transit will enter commercial service next month or in November — the LRT fare system will be announced shortly before the section opens.
The Macau Taxi Association has applied to the government for a fare hike.
