The government’s Interdepartmental Road Projects Coordination Group has received 363 applications for roadwork permits from government entities and public utilities to be carried out in the upcoming year, which is a 21 per cent increase year-on-year.

The government has announced that the city’s public bus drivers, taxi drivers and those operating Light Rail Transit (LRT) trains can now make an appointment to undergo a one-off Covid-19 test free of charge.
The Transport Bureau (DSAT) said in a statement on Sunday that it “solemnly” condemns the violence against a public bus driver at a bus stop outside Patane Market at about 11 pm on Saturday.
