Macao’s Christmas market is set to take over Praça do Tap Seac from 18 December to 2 January, with a host of stalls selling snacks and gifts.
The market will be open until midnight on 18, 19, 20, 24, 25 and 31 December and 1 January, and from 2 pm to 11 pm on other days.
Christmas decorations, light installations, a merry-go-round, an imitation snowboarding slope and an LED floor piano will add to the fun of the fair.
The market will be divided into two parts with 22 Christmas gift stalls and eight selling snacks. According to the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM), 17 of the gift stalls will be subject to bidding, while the others will be given to special invitees. Applications can be made from today.
