Zhejiang-based QJMotor will start selling six of its motorcycles in Portugal this  September.

The company’s SRT 800 and SRT 550, which are designed for trails and long distances, the SRK 700, SRK 400 and the retro style SRV 550 were all displayed at Expomoto show in the Portuguese city of Matosinhos earlier this month. The SRV 300, which is designed for medium and long distances, was also on show.

The commercial launch in Portugal is scheduled for September, and QJMotor intends to offer more electric and combustion scooters and motorcycles at a later date.

QJMotor was founded in 1985 as part of the Geely Group, specialising in research and development and the manufacture of motorcycles, engines and components.

In 2005, it acquired the century-old Italian motorcycle company Benelli, and currently produces a complete range of motorcycles, ranging from small 110cc scooters to high-end 1130cc motorcycles.

QJMotor exports to 130 countries, taking advantage of the synergies between Geely Group brands such as Volvo, Lotus, Polestar, Samarta and Lynk & Coto boost its international expansion, CLBrief reported.
