The 2024 edition of the Macao City Fringe Festival held its inauguration ceremony yesterday at the former Iec Long Firecracker Factory

The 12-day festival consists of 17 performances as well as assorted outreach activities, organised across Macao. It aims to “transform our city into an artistic playground,” according to the organisers.

A press release issued by the Cultural Affairs Bureau noted several programme highlights, including the interactive dance performance 25 Feet and Made by Beauty, with the latter exploring the notion of a universal standard of attractiveness.
