The 2024 edition of the Macao City Fringe Festival held its inauguration ceremony yesterday at the former Iec Long Firecracker Factory.
The 12-day festival consists of 17 performances as well as assorted outreach activities, organised across Macao. It aims to “transform our city into an artistic playground,” according to the organisers.
A press release issued by the Cultural Affairs Bureau noted several programme highlights, including the interactive dance performance 25 Feet and Made by Beauty, with the latter exploring the notion of a universal standard of attractiveness.
Also on the programme is the Art Exhibition for All, which encourages members of the public to display their own work.
The full list of shows and events can be found on the Macau City Fringe website.
Tickets for the 22nd Macao City Fringe Festival are on sale now, via MacauTicket.com, and you can register for outreach activities through your Macao One Account.
