A large youth camp at Hac Sa Beach, and a ‘sports park’ to be built on the site of the old canidrome, will boost leisure options in the city.
Highlight will be weekend concert on 4-5 November at Hac Sa, featuring Wang Lei & Yile from mainland China and 46 local groups.
Facemasks can be removed during swimming and water sports but social distancing at beaches must be maintained.
You can go to the beach, but you can’t swim; you can go to parks but can’t use fitness equipment either.
The Health Bureau has concluded that the city’s barbecue sites and the campsite at Hác Sá Beach Park – the city’s only public facility of its kind – can reopen, provided that certain COVID-19 prevention measures are strictly carried out there.
