The Macao government’s income from direct gaming taxes dropped 74.1% year-on-year to MOP 24.3 billion (US$3.05 billion) in the first 10 months of the year.
The government’s receipts from gaming taxes fell 47.9% year-on-year to MOP 20.5 billion (US$2.56 billion) in the first four months of the year, the Financial Services Bureau (DSF) announced today.
According to data from the Financial Services Bureau (DSF), Macau made MOP 7.3 billion (US$907.3 million) from gaming taxes in January. The amount represents an increase of 7.7 percent year-on-year, compared to the same month in 2016.
