The Macao Civil Aviation Authority (AACM) said in a statement on Wednesday that drone flights over some areas in Macao will be banned during the government-sponsored helicopter rides to ensure that the sightseeing tours will take place in a safe environment.
The government will ban the operation of drones over the Macau peninsula during the upcoming 66th Macau Grand Prix from next Thursday to Sunday.
