Wynn Palace revenues up, Wynn Macau down in 4Q

Wynn Resorts in the US has reported rising revenues at Wynn Palace in Cotai and falling revenues at Wynn Macau in Nape in the fourth quarter of last year.

According to a statement by the gaming operator in the US on Wednesday, operating revenues from Wynn Palace were US$740.6 million for the fourth quarter of 2018, up 12.8 percent year-on-year. Adjusted property EBITDA from the company’s resort in Cotai was US$226.6 million, a 19.2 percent year-on-year growth. Wynn Palace’s casino revenues were US$636.9 million for the October-December quarter, up 12.3 percent year-on-year.

Operating revenues from Wynn Macau were US$553.4 million for the fourth quarter of 2018, down 5.2 percent year-on-year. Adjusted property EBITDA from Wynn Macau was US$167.6 million, a 9.9 percent decrease. Casino revenues from the company’s Nape resort were US$479.0 million for the last quarter of 2018, a 5.9 percent decrease.

Operating revenues from the company’s Las Vegas operations were US$393.6 million for the fourth quarter, up 3.1 percent.

The company’s two Macau properties generated around three quarters of its total operating revenues in the fourth quarter, the figures showed.
