Residential property prices rise 7.5 pct in 2018: official

The average price of residential units rose by 7.5 percent year-on-year to 108,427 patacas per square metre of usable area last year, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced.

The average price of residential units rose by 7.5 percent year-on-year to 108,427 patacas per square metre of usable area last year, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced.

The average prices of those on the peninsula (101,914 patacas) and Coloane (135,527 patacas) rose by 11.1 percent and 5.7 percent respectively, while the prices of existing residential units (97,211 patacas) and pre-sale residential units (142,663 patacas) increased by 7.5 percent and 3.7 percent respectively.

The average prices per square metre of office units and industrial units amounted to 163,863 patacas and 56,393 patacas respectively, up by 44.8 percent and 3.6 percent.
