The public University of Macau (UM) and state-owned Nam Kwong Petroleum & Chemicals Co. Ltd. (NKOIL) have signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement.
Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai stressed that Macau has been able to keep up social and economic progress, ensure political stability, improve people’s livelihoods, speed up infrastructure development and maintain social harmony during his 10 years.
The government Thursday launched a 45-day public consultation on the strategies and major infrastructure projects required to develop Macau into a smart city, aiming to build Macau into a sustainable smart city and world city of leisure and tourism.
Monday’s 2017 Boao Forum for Asia Development Summit (Macau) focused on the theme of “Smart City Construction and Development of the Asian Region.” The one-day event was held at Sands Cotai Central.
