The Social Welfare Bureau has reinstated mandatory mask-wearing in care facilities to minimise festive season infection risks.

The move has been greeted positively in a city that has endured mask-wearing for the three-year Covid-19 pandemic. One lawmaker called it a “return to normality.”
Only one 30-minute allowed per day, and no more than two visitors who must apply for permission 24 hours in advance.
