The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Macau Garrison said in a statement Monday that Zhou Wugang, the political commissar of the army’s local garrison, has returned to the mainland for a new post in the army.

The commander of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Macau Garrison, Liao Zhengrong, has been transferred to Guangzhou, according to an order issued by President Xi Jinping, also chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), the army’s local garrison said in a statement on Friday.
