A tender process for new taxi licences has begun in response to public outcry over the difficulty of finding a taxi in Macao.

When completed in 2028, the East Line will be a boon for both inbound and outbound travellers, connecting the Taipa Ferry Terminal to the Border Gate.
No interchange discounts likely, but work under way to allow passengers to use Macau Pass on trains.
