The line will connect six stations upon its expected completion in 2028, from the Taipa Ferry Terminal up to the Border Gate.

When completed in 2028, the East Line will be a boon for both inbound and outbound travellers, connecting the Taipa Ferry Terminal to the Border Gate.
Out of action for months after a host of technical problems, trains will run from morning till night on the revamped line between Ocean and Taipa Ferry Terminal stations.
