Wong Sio Chak said the government was aware of the “great importance” of media development in the Greater Bay Area, pledging that it will continue to support media exchanges in the three-jurisdiction conurbation.

The Macau government is thankful to the central government for attaching great attention to, and supporting Macau’s involvement in the development of the Greater Bay Area, a statement by the Macau Government Information Bureau said.
Macau is willing to deepen cooperation with other cities in the Greater Bay Area and make its own contributions to the nation’s strategic development, so as to achieve greater success in terms of integration into the national development, Fernando Chui Sai On said.
President Xi Jinping said the policy of “one country, two systems” has proved to be the best institutional guarantee for the long-term prosperity and stability of Hong Kong and Macau.
