Tropical Cyclone Signal No 3 is still in effect but all signals will be cancelled at 6:30 pm this evening, the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) announced.

Typhoon Ma-on is currently located about 430 kilometres west of Macao and continues to move inland. Winds in Macao will further weaken, according to SMG.

However, the weather bureau warned that the city will still be affected by the rainbands of Ma-on tonight and tomorrow, with occasional heavy showers.

No adverse incidents have been recorded since Ma-on closed in on Macao earlier this week.
