With a northeastern monsoon approaching, the temperature is set to drop to around 13 degrees Celsius in Macao tomorrow.

The Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau has said that Tropical Cyclone Rai was expected to gradually turn northward, entering Macao’s 800 km tropical cyclone standby zone on Monday.

While saying that Rai was “expected to weaken,” the observatory acknowledged that “the changes in its intensity are still uncertain at present.” It forecast, however, that “the associated rain and cloud band will affect Macao from Monday to Wednesday.”

At 6:30 pm today, the temperature stood at 17 degrees Celsius, while relative humidity amounted to 58 per cent.
