Signal No. 3 to be hoisted at 11:30 am

The Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) will lower the signal level to Signal No. 3 at 11:30 am this morning as local winds will weaken. This will replace the Signal No. 8NE hoisted at 7:30 am earlier in the day.

The Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) will lower the signal level to Signal No. 3 at 11:30 am this morning as local winds will weaken. This will replace the Signal No. 8NE hoisted at 7:30 am earlier in the day.

All storm surge warnings will also be cancelled at 11:30 am this morning.

Today at 10:00 am, Typhoon Higos was located about 80 km west-northwest of Macao and forecasted to move at around 20 km/h.

This means that the tropical cyclone continues to move away from Macao.
