The 68th Macau Grand Prix Family Carnival will be held this weekend in Praça do Tap Seac, but anyone attending will need to make an online appointment to get in.

Admission will be divided into different time slots, with no more than 400 people allowed to enter at once.

Saturday’s time slots will be 3-5 pm, 5-7 pm and 7-9 pm; and admission times on Sunday will be 10 am to 12 pm, 12-2 pm, 2-4 pm, 4-6 pm and 6-9pm.

Online bookings can be made via the Macao Major Sporting Events Facebook Page or the Macao Major Sporting Events WeChat Account from 10 am today until 9 pm tomorrow.

According to the Sports Bureau, each person may only book one slot per day, and may register a maximum of four people each time who must enter the venue together. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The registered name and last four digits of their identification documents must be consistent with their health code information.

The carnival will include a recreation of the Guia Circuit, featuring a mini racetrack and interactive games.

The Grand Prix Opening Ceremony and Auto Show at the square will take place from 13-14 November, as well as the 68th Macau Grand Prix Photo Contest, which will be open for entries from 22 November to 30 December.

The bureau stressed that participants must undergo temperature checks, wear a facemask and present a valid Macao Health Code upon entry, The Macau Post Daily reported.
